Pictomancer · 5 machines

Five FFXIV Pictomancer (Dawntrail 7.x) mechanics drawn as bench machines. Each figure runs a short tour on its own and pauses when scrolled away; press its buttons (or focus it and use the keys named in its label) to drive it yourself.

The next pot in the cycle, the brush as it dips, White Paint in the rack, the palette collar at 50 or moreThree paint pots (1, 2 and 3 rim studs for red, green, blue), a gantry with a sliding brush, palette gauge column, five-paint rack, boss blockA mixing bench as the Pictomancer's basic combo in FFXIV (Dawntrail). The brush dips the pots in order: Fire in Red (490), Aero in Green (530) and Water in Blue (570). Each hue unlocks the next (Aetherhues), so the cycle always runs red, green, blue. Every Water in Blue adds 25 to the Palette Gauge (the column, 0 to 100) and one White Paint (the rack, up to 5). White Paint is spent on Holy in White (570, instant), useful when moving; 50 Palette pays for Subtractive Palette (PCT 3). The pots are marked with studs here, not colours.
A painted canvas, the portrait frame when a portrait is ready, Living Muse chargesThree easels (1, 2 and 3 studs: creature, weapon, landscape), the creature-cycle pins, portrait frame, three-charge rack, boss blockThree easels as the Pictomancer's motifs in FFXIV (Dawntrail). A motif is a 3-second cast (instant before a pull) that paints a canvas; a Muse then spends it. Left is the creature canvas: Living Muse (3 charges, 40 s each) summons the next creature in the cycle Pom, Wing, Claw, Maw (the raised pin). After Wing the Moogle Portrait is ready (Mog of the Ages, 1000); after Maw the Madeen Portrait (Retribution of the Madeen, 1100). The middle canvas feeds Striking Muse (PCT 5), the right one Starry Muse (PCT 4). Potencies are from the job guide; the frame and pins are a simplification.
The next subtractive pot, Subtractive stacks, the Black Paint token, the palette collar at 50 or moreThree subtractive pots (1, 2 and 3 studs), palette gauge, three-stack rack, five-socket White Paint rack, Black Paint socket, boss blockThe Pictomancer's second combo in FFXIV (Dawntrail). Subtractive Palette spends 50 of the Palette Gauge (filled by Water in Blue, PCT 1) for 3 stacks; while they last the hues become Blizzard in Cyan (860), Stone in Yellow (900) and Thunder in Magenta (940), one stack each, in that order. It also grants Monochrome Tones, which turns the next White Paint into Black Paint (the hex token): Comet in Black (940) spends it instead of Holy in White. Potencies are from the job guide; the pots and sockets are a simplification.
The star and the party rings while the landscape is up, Hyperphantasia stacks, the Rainbow Drip and Star Prism pins when raisedStar plinth, four party pads, five-stack rack, two pins (Rainbow Drip, Star Prism), 20 s timer, 120 s recast dialStarry Muse in FFXIV (Dawntrail): the landscape canvas (PCT 2) is spent to raise a starry sky that gives the party 5% more damage for 20 seconds, on a 120-second recast. It also grants 5 stacks of Hyperphantasia: inside the landscape (with Inspiration), each spell spends one and casts 25% faster. Spending all five grants Rainbow Bright, an instant Rainbow Drip (1000, left pin), and Starstruck, Star Prism (1100 plus a 400 heal to the party, right pin). Subtractive Spectrum (a free Subtractive Palette) is not shown. Potencies are from the job guide; the timers here run in real seconds.
The hammer head while Hammer Time lasts, its stacks, raised charge pins, the strike ring on a critical direct hitTrip hammer on an axle, anvil, three-stack rack, two charge pins, 30 s timer, 60 s recharge dial, boss blockThe Pictomancer's weapon canvas in FFXIV (Dawntrail). Striking Muse (2 charges, 60 s each) spends the painted weapon canvas (PCT 2) for 3 stacks of Hammer Time, lasting 30 seconds. Each stack is one strike of a fixed combo: Hammer Stamp (560), Hammer Brush (580) and Polishing Hammer (600). All three are instant and always land as critical direct hits (the ring). The trip hammer stands in for the weapon; potencies are from the job guide, and the timers here run in real seconds.
