Five FFXIV Reaper (Dawntrail 7.x) mechanics drawn as bench machines. Each figure runs a short tour on its own and pauses when scrolled away; press its buttons (or focus it and use the keys named in its label) to drive it yourself.
Soul collar at 50 or more, Shroud collar at 50 or more, Soul Reaver valve and pin, combo lamps, Soul Slice chargesSoul column (left) and Shroud column (right) joined by a bar, boss, three combo lamps, two charge lampsTwo columns as the Reaper's Soul and Shroud gauges in FFXIV (Dawntrail). The Slice, Waxing Slice, Infernal Slice combo adds 10 Soul per hit and Soul Slice (520, two charges, 30-second recharge run fast here) adds 50, up to 100. Blood Stalk (340) spends 50 Soul and grants Soul Reaver, which allows one Gibbet or Gallows (500, 560 when enhanced by the other); each of those adds 10 Shroud. At 50 Shroud the Reaper can Enshroud (RPR 2).
Lemure Shroud lanterns, Void Shroud lamps, the Enshroud timer, Shroud collar at 50 or moreShroud column, a rail of five lanterns, two Void lamps, boss, timer dialA rail of lanterns as the Reaper's Enshroud in FFXIV (Dawntrail). Enshroud spends 50 Shroud and lights five Lemure Shroud for 30 seconds. Void Reaping and Cross Reaping (580, 640 when enhanced by the other, so they alternate) each spend one Lemure Shroud and add one Void Shroud; Lemure's Slice (280) spends two Void Shroud. Communio (1100 to the target, 20% less to those near it) needs at least one Lemure Shroud and ends Enshroud. The usual order is four reapings and two Lemure's Slices, then Communio on the last lantern. Sacrificium is left out.
The Death's Design column while it lasts, the hammer as it lands, combo lampsBoss, hammer on a post, a 60-second column (halfway mark at 30 s), combo lampsDeath's Design on the bossA marked boss as the Reaper's Death's Design in FFXIV (Dawntrail). Shadow of Death (300) puts Death's Design on the target for 30 seconds, and each further use adds 30 more up to 60; while it lasts the Reaper deals 10% more damage to that target, so every hit here shows its potency raised by 10%. Whorl of Death does the same to all nearby enemies. The column empties fast here; in play the Reaper keeps it up the whole fight.

Arcane Circle (recast 120 seconds) raises the damage of the Reaper and nearby party members by 3% for 20 seconds and puts Circle of Sacrifice on them for 5: their weaponskills and spells may each give the Reaper a stack of Immortal Sacrifice, up to 8 (here every spark lands). Plentiful Harvest spends all stacks and cuts a line: 720 to the first enemy with one stack, rising to 1000 at eight, 20% less to the rest. It cannot be used during the first 6 seconds (Bloodsown Circle). Timers run fast here.

Gluttony costs 50 Soul and has a 60 second recast: the avatar slams the target for 560 and others nearby for 25% less, and grants two stacks of Executioner. Each stack turns Gibbet or Gallows into Executioner's Gibbet or Gallows (700, +10 Shroud). Soul Slice refills 50 Soul. Gauge sizes are true; timers run fast here.
